Position: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Engineer

Location: Downtown San Francisco, CA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) professionals to support our Hi-Tech client based in downtown San Francisco. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience in OCI architecture, migration, automation, and cloud governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage OCI environments including compute, networking, and storage.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Develop automation scripts for provisioning, monitoring, and scaling using Terraform or Ansible.
• Ensure cloud security, compliance, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in a hybrid work environment (3 days onsite).

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure (3+ years in OCI).
• Strong knowledge of OCI core services, IAM, VCN, Load Balancer, and Object Storage.
• Experience with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps integration.
• Understanding of networking, Linux administration, and cloud security.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• OCI certification.
• Exposure to Oracle Cloud Database services and integration with applications.
• Prior experience in the Hi-Tech or SaaS industry.
