Computer Aided Design Design Engineer – CelLink Corporation

We are looking for a skilled CAD Designer with SolidWorks experience to support the development of next‑generation flexible circuit interconnects for EV and energy applications.

Base Pay Range

$80,000.00/yr – $115,000.00/yr

Location

San Francisco Bay Area and Austin Metro Areas

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design 3D CAD models and 2D drawings of wire harnesses, flexible printed circuits, and battery pack interconnects using CAD best practices and processes.
• Incorporate design guidelines and DFM feedback to ensure parts are manufacturable and meet functional requirements.
• Assist with the creation and release of engineering components and assembly drawings.
• Assist with 2D geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Perform CAD data transfer to internal stakeholders.

Educational Requirements

• Associate's degree or higher in Engineering, CAD design, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in CAD design of electrical and/or automotive components (SolidWorks preferred).
• Experience managing large 3D files (component and assembly).
• Independent problem solver with a desire to learn new skills and technology.
• Strong organization skills and detail‑oriented mindset.
• Able to adapt to changing requirements in a fast‑paced start‑up setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong work ethic, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Working Conditions / Hours

Office and Manufacturing Environment: The employee is regularly required to talk or hear, use hands/fingers, handle or feel objects, stand, walk, sit, reach, pull/push, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must lift or move up to 50 pounds without assistance. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
