Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer in Walnut Creek, CA. This role involves working on various projects related to municipal water and wastewater treatment plants. Responsibilities

• Execute detailed electrical power systems designs for water and wastewater treatment facilities under the guidance of a Senior Level Electrical Engineer.
• Perform load calculations, detailed conduit routing, design motor control centers and switchgears, and develop specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 6 to 12 years of experience in Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
• Proficiency in power system applications, including calculating available short circuit current, voltage drop, harmonic distortion, and power factor.
• Hands‑on experience in field investigations and startup procedures.
• Strong understanding of NEC, NFPA 820, and NESC.
• Familiarity with the IEEE book series.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Highly motivated, articulate, and self‑starting.
• Ability to positively engage with clients.
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
