Hinge Health is a digital health company delivering evidence-based solutions for musculoskeletal (MSK) pain. By combining personalized exercise therapy with virtual care, we empower individuals to manage and reduce chronic pain—improving quality of life and reducing healthcare costs. With the launch of HingeSelect, we're integrating digital and in-person care for improved outcomes and a better member experience. This is a new 0→1 initiative where you'll help forge a new business line from the ground up.
You'll manage and grow a team of 6+ engineers, guide the technical vision and roadmap, and stay close to the code through reviews and occasional contributions (~15%). We practice continuous delivery and a DevOps culture with engineers participating in an on-call rotation and owning what we ship. Our production systems rely on Golang, gRPC, AWS, Postgres, Redis, and Temporal. Our workflow is trunk-based CI/CD, and our security/compliance posture is at the highest standards of healthcare, including HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, and CCPA.
Employees in hybrid roles are required to be in the office 3 days per week for the full 8 hours of a typical business day. The San Francisco office has a dog-friendly workplace program.
This position offers an annual salary of $250,800 – $376,200, plus equity and benefits. Total compensation will vary based on qualifications, experience, and location.
