POSITION SUMMARY
The Bay Area Discovery Museum (BADM) seeks an Events Assistant to join our team! This role is responsible for supporting the execution of birthday parties, private rentals, and events on-site.
In partnership with the Senior Events Manager and Learning & Museum Experience team, this position is the face of these museum events and has direct interaction with visitors to the Bay Area Discovery Museum. This is a great time to join BADM as we re-launch our birthday party and events program! This position is a public facing role; Events Assistants will play an active role in joyful celebrations for children and the families and friends that love them.
This entry-level position pays a rate of $23.46/hour and is an on-call position that operates on-site at our picturesque 7.5-acre campus in Sausalito, CA. Most scheduled events are based on birthday party bookings, slated for Saturdays & Sundays. There may be opportunities for occasional weekday assignments as needed. Ideal candidates should be flexible and available for on-call shifts based on the museum's business needs.
