The technician prepares and packs instruments for sterilization. The position involves picking case carts and storing sterile instrumentation. The technician must adhere to proper safety and infection control procedures. Certifications in sterile processing and basic life support are required. Experience with hospital sterilization equipment and processes is highly preferred. Weekend rotations are required, with the schedule alternating weekends. Candidates should have prior experience in an acute hospital or ambulatory surgery center. Knowledge of charting systems is necessary, with specific experience in Epic preferred. Background checks will be conducted prior to hiring.
