The position applies professional financial analysis concepts and organizational policies to resolve a variety of issues of limited to moderate scope, focusing primarily on financial reporting, data integrity, and compliance within a large, multi‑site academic health care environment. The analyst will prepare and present basic financial and resource reports for internal department constituents, utilizing data extracted directly from specialized institutional systems such as the School of Medicine's PLUS Budgeting tool and MyReports. Responsibilities include ensuring integrity of resource allocations, applying University‑wide accounting and business policies, executing judgment within defined procedures, and supporting the monthly General Ledger Verification and reconciliation processes. The analyst works closely with other analysts and administrative staff to maintain financial controls in a high‑volume environment.
The salary range for this position is $30.51 - $65.18 per hour (Step Hourly Rate). Final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
