Responsibilities

• Coordinating new and follow-on investments
• Updating cap tables and preparing portfolio company valuations
• Reviewing quarterly fund financials (compiled by fund admin)
• Consolidating subsidiary financial statements and supplemental schedules
• Managing cash flow (preparing and recommending cap calls and distributions)
• Conducting quarterly portfolio reviews (preparing packages and presentations)
• Preparing financial statements for employee funds
• Conducting historical trend analysis and ad hoc research or reporting
• Providing audit and tax assistance

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or several accounting courses successfully completed
• Ideally 2-4 years of experience in venture capital or private equity
• Solid understanding of GAAP
• Strong Excel skills (such as pivot tables)
