About the Role

The Senior Wealth Management Associate (internally referred to as Senior Advice Strategist) is an advanced-level professional responsible for delivering expert-level financial planning support to advisors and clients. The role requires deep technical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to develop complex, customized financial strategies. The Associate serves as a thought partner to advisors and is a key contributor to delivering a high-quality, high‑touch client experience.

What You Will Do

  • Partner with team members and advisors to deliver client‑ready meeting prep and follow‑up materials, including development and delivery of materials in a Client Relationship Manager capacity for select clients.
  • Provide expert client‑facing financial planning and holistic advice.
  • Lead the development of complex financial plans, including advanced cash flow, tax, insurance, and estate analysis.
  • Serve as a subject‑matter expert in financial planning software and help drive technology integration and efficiency.
  • Present planning strategies and recommendations to clients in coordination with advisors.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, CPAs, and investment professionals to ensure integrated financial solutions.
  • Mentor and support Advice Strategists, Operations, and Client Services team members, contributing to the development of the broader Advice Strategy team.
  • Manage complex plan implementation tasks, including account transfers, insurance applications, and document workflows.
  • Maintain an up‑to‑date understanding of industry regulations and ensure all planning work adheres to compliance and internal policy standards.
  • Contribute to process improvements and content development to enhance client experience and firm‑wide planning capabilities.

What You Bring

  • BA in finance, economics, accounting or related field (preferred).
  • Licensing: Series 65 and/or CFP (or equivalent) or ability to obtain within 180 days.
  • Additional advanced designations (e.g., ChFC®, CPA, JD, or CFA®) are a plus.
  • 5‑7+ years of experience in the financial services industry with a focus on comprehensive financial planning.
  • Proven success in a client‑facing role, ideally in a B2C setting or supporting UHNW/HNW clientele.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate advanced planning strategies in a clear and client‑friendly manner.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills.
  • In‑depth understanding of tax, estate, retirement, and insurance planning strategies.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Mastery of financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, RightCapital), CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fundamental knowledge of Insurance, Tax Services, Executive Compensation, Cash Flow Management, Accounting, and related areas.

Additional Requirements

  • Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Background Check: Successful completion of a credit and criminal background check is required.

The estimated base pay salary rate for this role is $139,000 – $173,000 per year. Base salaries are determined based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. Depending on the role, many positions are eligible for variable pay such as bonuses, commissions, and/or long‑term incentives. Work Conditions

  • Physical Requirements: Occasional physical activity such as lifting, moving, and setting up computer equipment. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds may be necessary.
  • Repetitive Duties: Extended periods of sitting and computer use, as well as repetitive tasks related to troubleshooting and data entry.
  • On‑Site Presence: Occasional movement throughout the office is required to provide in‑person support and attend meetings.
