Senior Manager, Supply Chain, Optical Laboratory & Manufacturing

Join the National Association of Latino Healthcare Executives as a Senior Manager of Supply Chain for our Optical Laboratory operations in Richmond, California.

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the optical manufacturing laboratory, overseeing a team of 110+ FTEs and five direct reports.
• Produce 450,000 eyeglass orders per year and support a 10,000‑order weekly production volume for Kaiser Permanente members.
• Optimize productivity, quality, and member satisfaction while maintaining turnaround time (TAT) and first‑pass yield targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules, policies, procedures, and KP‑S Principles of Responsibility.
• Identify opportunities for improved efficiencies and develop actionable plans.
• Support employee engagement and promote a culture of service and quality excellence.
• Operate within a Labor Management Partnership environment and lead a 24‑hour, five‑day manufacturing schedule.
• Control long‑term operations, including safety programs, budgeting, financial planning, and strategic vision for the laboratory.
• Develop and maintain policies for asset and inventory management, equipment maintenance, and optical lab procurement.
• Design and deliver training programs for branch managers, opticians, contact lens fitters, and other staff.
• Champion member satisfaction by defining quality standards, investigating complaints, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Implement comprehensive safety and inspection programs to maintain compliance with federal and OSHA requirements.
