Lazy Bear is a fine-dining restaurant in the heart of San Francisco's Mission District, awarded two Michelin stars. We serve modern American cuisine with a pre-fixe menu of many courses. The right candidate will be joining a tight team performing at the highest level of San Francisco dining.

Base pay range

$19.00/hr - $19.00/hr

Qualifications

• 3+ years restaurant/hospitality experience. 2+ years fine dining, ideally Michelin environment.
• Passion for food, wine, hospitality and the restaurant industry
• Solid understanding of service etiquette and mechanics along with an appreciation for the little things that add up to make for a great experience for guests.
• Sommelier level wine/spirits knowledge is preferred
• Ability to remain calm in fast-paced, high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be able to fluently speak/read/write English
• Food Handler's Certification
• RBS Certification

• Learn about food and wine at a world-class level with a passionate team of people who really care about what they do.
• Cultivating an unprecedented guest experience by not only providing the highest technical level of service to guests, but doing so with joy and effusiveness.
• Contribute to and elevate service with a strong attention to detail, and dedication to standards.
• Work closely with culinary team to have a full understanding of our menu and overall mission
• Communicate with guests and coworkers in a refined, clear, and efficient manner
• Maintain an elegant and professional manner on the floor at all times
• Anticipate the needs of diners and provide them with the best experience possible within the scope of our restaurant
