About the Role

We are a small, dynamic team focused on building cloud-managed access control systems. Access Control is our second major product line. Our solution allows users to manage doors, schedules, and user credentials from virtually anywhere on their laptop or phone. You'll be working alongside a dynamic team of firmware, backend, and frontend engineers to develop this product line.

What You Bring

• BS or graduate degree in Computer Science, Maths, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of industry software engineering experience
• Proficiency in at least one server programming language (Python, Go)
• Experience in scalable distributed system design, including databases, queues and blob storage
• Experience working in an agile team software development environment
• Willing and able to work onsite five days per week

Annual Pay Range

At Verkada, compensation reflects the value of the role and the candidate's skills and experience. The annual on-target earnings range for this position is:

$160,000 - $220,000 USD
