Oxidehas built a vertically integrated, rack-level cloud computer, delivering theefficiencies, automation, and developer experience of the cloud in a form thatbusinesses can own. We're seeking a Solutions Architect Leader to serve as a seniortechnical voice in customer engagements, with prospects, and with partners.

Serve as Oxide's executive-level technical representative with CIOs, CTOs, andboards, delivering compelling presentations, keynotes, and strategy sessions. PositionOxide as the long-term platform partner for enterprise modernization by engaging atthe highest levels of customer organizations and building trust through strategictechnical leadership.

Provide architectural direction for major customer programs and initiatives whileleading executive workshops around AI infrastructure, hybrid cloud, and datacentermodernization. Drive customer alignment to Oxide's product roadmap by translatingcomplex technical capabilities into strategic business value for enterprisetransformation.

Partner with Marketing and Product to publish thought leadership content, whitepapers,and conference presentations that establish Oxide's market position. Represent Oxide atindustry events and analyst briefings to build brand recognition and credibility in theenterprise infrastructure space.

Provide field insight back to Product and Engineering teams to shape roadmap decisionsbased on real customer needs and market dynamics. Mentor Solutions Architects andSolutions Software Engineers on enterprise engagement strategies while helping shaperepeatable go-to-market messaging and narratives.

Ensure Oxide is positioned as a strategic partner at the executive level in targetaccounts with messaging that resonates across both technical and business audiencesfrom boardrooms to data centers.

Elevate the Oxide brand by being seen as a trusted peer to CIOs and CTOs, acceleratingdeals through executive-level relationship building and strategic alignment.

Have 12+ years in enterprise infrastructure, cloud, or systems leadership roles;prior experience as CTO, Chief Architect, or as a senior technical executive stronglypreferred.

Possess deep expertise across cloud, compute, storage, and security architectures witha proven track record of executive-level customer engagement and influencing largetechnology decisions.

Have exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities combined withstrong business orientation that enables you to link technology vision to business valueeffectively.

Are comfortable working in startup and scale-up environments with the pace and ambiguitythat comes with building a generational company.

Have hands-on keyboard experience as a platform or enterprise architect with directinvolvement in architecting and executing cloud migrations including preparation,planning, and execution phases.

Are familiar with application rationalization and disposition strategies such as retire,refactor, and lift-and-shift approaches with proven ability to lead execution phases andconvince leadership teams to back critical migration strategies.

Understand both cloud and on-premises infrastructure realities deeply and can navigatethe complexities of enterprise technology transformation.

Get excited about being the senior technical voice shaping billion-dollar enterprisetransformations and working alongside world-class engineers and executives.

Take responsibility for representing technical excellence at the highest levels andbuilding lasting strategic partnerships.

Don't mind coworkers getting really excited about decades-old computers.

Most of our team are based outside of the Bay Area. We do ask that your workday overlaps with Pacific Time for at least four hours.

Our families and lives outside of our jobs are very important to us; our schedules are flexible to reflect and support that.

We offer the best medical PPO, dental, and vision plans we can find and cover 100% of premiums for employees and dependents.

This role consists of base salary + commission. Other roles at Oxide make $235,000 USD with no commission component regardless of location.
