Our client is a fast growing SaaS startup looking for an experienced Senior Revenue Accountant to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the revenue month-end close, ensuring accurate and timely recognition of subscription and usage revenue in accordance with ASC 606.
• Reconcile and prepare revenue-related schedules, deferred revenue, and partnership referral fees.
• Review customer contracts, partner agreements, and non-standard terms to determine appropriate revenue treatment and document accounting conclusions.
• Oversee the accuracy of customer billing, invoicing, and payment application across subscription and enterprise accounts.
• Work cross-functionally with other teams to evaluate pricing models, referral arrangements, and new products for accounting implications.
• Support Netsuite implementation and help with automation of monthly processes and post-migration system testing.
• Manage audit preparation process including compiling supporting documentation, reconciliations and schedules, and delivering requests in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in public accounting and in a corporate revenue accounting role
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA is preferred
• Understanding of subscription billing systems and ERP platforms
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, specifically ASC 340-40 and ASC 606
• Experience with NetSuite software is helpful
