Business Analyst

San Francisco, CA (Complete Onsite)

Contract (8 months + possible extension)

Pay Rate: $50-52 an hour on W2 (DOE)

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities by division, department, and class.
  • Create preseason sales, gross margin and inventory plans by division and department that support product strategies.
  • Reconcile top down to bottom up division/department plans.
  • Reforecast sales and manage inventory for all basic styles and style colors to meet department financial goals.
  • Communicate financial results to manager and cross functional team on a weekly basis and determine pricing actions.
  • Support Monthly Forecasting by reconciling receipts and working through a financial forecast with action plans to support path to financial targets.

Required Skills

  • 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Strong Excel and technical skills.
  • Must demonstrate strong executive presence and ability to story tell with a growth mindset.
  • Build constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of business partners.
  • Possess strong business acumen and strategic agility, able to handle many projects simultaneously while effectively prioritizing workload.
  • Demonstrate strong listening, written and oral communication skills, able to present ideas and directions that rally others to action.
  • Ability to assess relatively complex situations and analyze data to make judgments and recommend solutions.
  • Experienced in building and maintaining item-level forecasts, identifying trends and risks to support agile business decisions.
  • Experience working with tools such as Anaplan, Pete and MicroStrategy.
