Under the direction of the Manager of Behavioral Health Services, the Lead applies experienced knowledge of frontline staff practices, which include practice coordinators and patient navigators, to develop processes and improve access efficiency and productivity. Represents team members and partners with leadership in the enhancement of operational workflows. Independently uses and applies knowledge and experience to develop and manage high profile strategic initiatives across general psychiatry, interventional psychiatry, and specialty services. Leads teams and projects using advanced professional concepts and objectives to address and resolve intermediate to complex issues. Works on programs requiring political sensitivity, where analysis of circumstances and information requires an in-depth evaluation of factors. Manage and coordinate special projects/assignments as they arise within the Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinics. Assist in process improvement, which includes the planning, development, implementation, training, and sustainment of a daily engagement system. Keep track of dashboards and metrics. Involves providing non-clinical support, guidance and assistance for patients and families as they navigate through complex healthcare environments. Primary goals are to increase patient satisfaction, and to optimize care and outcomes. Acts as a communication liaison to understand the patient's non-clinical individual needs, desires, and concerns. Guides the patient and family to a broad range of services, amenities, and information to promote healing and ensure satisfaction with the patient care experience.
