Mechanical Engineer I – Entry Level

We are opening an entry-level graduate position for Mechanical Engineering.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create basic designs under the direction of senior engineer or designer.
  • Learn drawing organization and company standards.
  • Perform CAD/BIM drafting for a variety of projects to understand architectural engineering design and documentation.
  • Coordinate with designs of other trades under guidance of senior technical staff.
  • Support design and engineering efforts of systems for new installations, retrofits, replacements, and upgrades for a wide variety of projects.
  • Take ownership of completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of work assignments.
  • Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits; observe and attend project coordination meetings.
  • Participate in Engineering Development Program (EDT) training sessions and support activities.
  • Attend continuing education seminars on technical and professional enhancing topics.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (graduation date Winter 2025, Spring/Summer 2026).
  • Previous engineering internship preferred.
  • Knowledge of the latest version of MEP AutoCAD; Revit experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite.
  • FE or EIT preferred.

Engineering Development Program (EDT)

Our EDT program accelerates training for recent graduates, covering both technical and business aspects. Senior engineers mentor participants throughout the program.

Salary Range

California Pay range: $61,350 – $92,167 USD.
