They're seeking a Mechanical Engineer to help design and build the next generation of robotic lab automation systems. You'll take ownership of mechanical design, prototyping, testing, and iteration — turning ideas into robust, production‑ready hardware.

This is a full‑time, onsite position in San Francisco.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, analyze, and iterate on mechanical systems and components
  • Develop detailed CAD models and manufacturing drawings
  • Prototype and test robotic hardware in real‑world lab settings
  • Create solutions for precise manipulation of lab instruments and tools

Key Requirements

  • Strong mechanical intuition and hands‑on engineering skills
  • Experience designing, assembling, and debugging complex hardware
  • Proficiency with CAD tools and mechanical design best practices
  • Comfort working in a fast‑paced, experimental environment
  • BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent experience

Nice‑to‑Have

  • Experience with PLM systems and document control
  • Background in mechatronics, robotics, or motion control
  • Familiarity with robot arms, sensors, or lab automation
  • Programming experience with robotic systems
