As a Mechanical Engineer at Poseidon Aerospace, you will be responsible for designing, prototyping, and validating mechanical subcomponents for our aircraft on tight timelines. Responsibilities

• Design and deliver critical flight-ready components for aircraft systems.
• Take mechanical systems and subcomponents from initial concept through prototype development to flight validation.
• Perform analysis and testing to ensure reliability under the demanding conditions of flight.
• Work collaboratively to integrate mechanical systems with other subsystems, maintaining strong communication with cross-functional teams.
• Optimize designs for manufacturability and maintainability, considering practical constraints and real‑world application.

Ideal Qualifications

• Deep understanding of aircraft structural design and practical applications in aerospace contexts.
• Proven experience taking mechanical components from concept to real‑world deployment, especially in aviation or similar environments.
• Extensive experience with CAD software for designing complex, interdependent mechanical systems.
• Hands‑on experience with machining and fabrication processes, including an intuitive understanding of achievable tolerances.
• Ability to work effectively within a team to collaboratively develop robust, efficient, and integrated solutions.
