The Merchant Design team at Client builds products that empower merchants to succeed. As a Product Designer on the Merchant Finance, Tax, and Reporting team, you will take the lead on high-impact initiatives that streamline complex financial and reporting tasks. You'll work at the intersection of usability and business outcomes, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver intuitive, data-rich experiences for Client merchant partners. This is more than a visual design role—it's an opportunity to own the product vision and create meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Explore and define solutions in complex, ambiguous problem spaces with a structured design approach.
• Lead the end-to-end design process, including user flows, interaction models, wireframes, and polished UI design.
• Utilize both quantitative data and qualitative research to inform and iterate on design decisions.
• Clearly articulate your design rationale in team reviews and contribute to collaborative ideation and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with UX Researchers, Product Managers, Engineers, Analysts, and other stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
• Ensure pixel-perfect implementation by providing detailed specs and offering development support during the build phase.

• 5+ years of experience in product or UX design, ideally in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
• Proven ability to lead design work independently across multiple product surfaces or initiatives.
• Strong experience with Figma, design systems, and creating consistent interaction/UI patterns.
• Demonstrated skill in turning complex workflows into clean, user-friendly experiences.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to explain design rationale clearly.
• Self-driven, curious, and comfortable working in areas with high ambiguity.

• Prior experience designing tools or workflows related to finance, tax, data visualization, or reporting.
• Background in e-commerce, SaaS, or B2B product design is a plus.
• Comfort running or participating in design sprints and rapid prototyping sessions.
