Data Analyst

Plans and facilitates the collecting of system and business requirements as well as analyzes the quality of data flowing within the system, documents data reconciliation strategies, and conducts reconciliation activities in support of improving data quality for Sutter Health systems and data warehouse solutions. Monitors systems for data quality, efficiency, operation, and data integrity. Applies both business knowledge and technical expertise to design, develop, and implement moderately complex Business Intelligence solutions, databases, data warehouses, data marts, interfaces, custom programming, reports, and analysis. Is also responsible for all database maintenance, analysis, development, report writing, configuration, testing, integration, and training ensuring effect data management throughout Sutter Health.

Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Typical Experience: 2 years of recent relevant experience.

Skills and Knowledge: Working knowledge of healthcare operations and structure in an integrated delivery system. Proven knowledge of data modeling tools and data warehouse design concepts. Verbal and writing skills to effectively communicate with diverse groups such as executives, managers, and subject matter experts. Set priorities that accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities, and assign tasks to complete work in a timely manner. Analyze information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures to identify relevant concerns and factors. Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with clients, IS team members, management, and executive personnel/staff. Structured query language (sql) skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word.

Pay Range is $47.67 to $71.51 / hour. The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
