Volunteer for LBFE’s Thanksgiving Day In-Home Visits and Meal Deliveries!

Join us this Thanksgiving as we bring warmth, joy, and holiday meals to older adults in our community! There are two ways you can volunteer:
Option 1: In-Person Visit & Meal Delivery
- Pick up your Thanksgiving meal(s) in downtown San Francisco on Thursday, November 27th between 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
- Deliver the meal(s) and spend time visiting with an older adult in their home.
- Visits and deliveries should be completed between 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM.
- Exact meal pick-up location will be shared in your confirmation email.
Option 2: Meal Delivery Only
- Pick up meals in downtown San Francisco on Thursday, November 27th between 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
- Deliver meals to multiple older adults who have requested delivery only (no in-home visit).
- Deliveries should be completed between 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM.
- Exact pick-up location will be shared in your confirmation email.
Additional Details
- Family and friends are welcome to join you! At least one person in each group must have a cleared background check and volunteer orientation.
