Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in San Francisco, CA. This role requires strong expertise in building scalable ETL/data pipelines and integrating data from systems like FLEX, Agiloft, and CARS.
Rate Range: $53/hour to 68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Engineer job responsibilities include:
- Design and develop scalable ETL/data pipelines using AWS Glue, PySpark, and Redshift to support data integration and analytics needs.
- Integrate data from enterprise systems such as FLEX, Agiloft, and CARS into centralized data platforms.
- Build and maintain efficient data models leveraging AWS S3, Redshift, and data modeling best practices.
- Perform data validation, cleansing, and transformation to ensure data quality and consistency across systems.
- Optimize data workflows and queries for performance and scalability using SQL and Python.
- Collaborate with analytics teams to support reporting and dashboarding through QlikView/Qlik Sense and cloud-based data platforms like AWS and Azure.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in ETL/data pipeline development and data integration.
- Proven expertise in AWS services including Glue, Redshift, and S3, with strong proficiency in PySpark and data modeling.
- Experience integrating data from enterprise systems such as FLEX, Agiloft, and CARS, with a strong command of SQL and Python.
