Design Verification Engineer – Semiconductor Startup (Contract, Hybrid – Bay Area)

Duration: 6 months

Location: Hybrid (Weekly Onsite in Santa Clara)

Lumicity is partnering with a mid‑stage semiconductor startup developing cutting‑edge interconnect technologies. We're seeking an experienced Design Verification Engineer to join their innovative team on a 6‑month contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute verification plans for complex digital designs.
• Create and maintain testbenches, test cases, and verification environments using industry‑standard methodologies (e.g., UVM/SystemVerilog).
• Collaborate closely with design and architecture teams to ensure functional coverage and design quality.
• Debug and analyze test failures, propose design or testbench improvements, and drive closure.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in ASIC/FPGA design verification using SystemVerilog and UVM.
• Strong understanding of digital design fundamentals and verification methodologies.
• Experience with simulation, coverage analysis, and waveform debugging tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work onsite in the Bay Area on a weekly basis (hybrid schedule).
