Base Pay Range

$160,000 – $240,000 per year

About the Role

As our first Platform Engineer you will shape our cloud infrastructure and ensure our systems are reliable, scalable, and secure. The role requires executing best practices from day one to keep pace with explosive growth.

Stack: TypeScript, Node, Postgres, React, Next.js, AWS (ECS, RDS, ElastiCache).

Qualifications and Experience

• 3+ years of cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or SRE experience.
• 1+ year of experience architecting AWS infrastructure.
• 1+ year of experience writing application layer code.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Understanding of networking in AWS involving VPCs and VPNs.
• Track record driving engineering best practices around application performance, monitoring, and alerting.
• Experience improving CI/CD pipelines and local development tooling (hot‑reloading, unit testing speed, etc.).
• Nice to have: deep understanding of Postgres performance to advise engineers on query optimization.
• Nice to have: familiarity with compliance standards such as SOC 2.
