DHQ Seasonal Musician role at The Salvation Army Southern California.

Responsibilities

• Read music proficiently and play a brass instrument in a quartet or quintet
• Ability to play as a soloist at kettles
• Read music proficiently and sing a part in a quartet or quintet
• Travel to events throughout the Golden State Division
• Other duties as assigned by the Divisional Music and Worship Arts Director or Divisional Secretary for Program

Skills And Abilities

• Able to play a brass instrument with proficiency
• Able to sing a part with proficiency
• Uniformed Salvationist currently attending a Salvation Army Corps

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. (typically musical instruments or equipment)
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis

Equipment Used

• Musical instruments as required
• AV equipment as required
