Responsibilities

• Own Amperesand's embedded Linux platform
• Stay updated with new technologies, tools, and methodologies in embedded systems

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, etc. or combined equivalent experience with evidence of exceptional ability
• Experience with embedded Linux development systems such as Petalinux, Yocto, buildroot, etc.
• Hands on experience with various microcontroller platforms and multicore architectures
• Proficiency in C, C++, or similar language for embedded systems
• Understanding of low-level programming and hardware interfacing
• Knowledge of real-time programming concepts and real-time operating systems
• Ability to write efficient code under resource constraints (memory, CPU, flash)
• Basic knowledge of digital and analog electronics
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% including internationally
• Excellent written and verbal communications in English
