The Role

They are hiring its first founding software engineers to help scale core systems and meet skyrocketing customer demand. As a Founding Software Engineer, you'll work on developing, evaluating, and deploying state-of-the-art voice and language models that push the boundaries of conversational AI. This is an opportunity to shape the product, tech stack, and culture of a fast-moving startup tackling one of the most exciting frontiers in applied AI.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack systems that power conversational AI agents.
• Develop scalable back-end infrastructure and APIs for real-time speech and LLM integration.
• Collaborate with founders and customers to deliver high-impact features and custom implementations.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and latency for large-scale voice interactions.
• Evaluate and deploy cutting-edge LLM and voice model architectures.
• Contribute to product design, roadmap decisions, and early engineering culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for addressing technical challenges.
• A customer-first mindset with strong communication skills and interest in product design and prioritization.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Passion about learning and keeping up with latest AI advancements.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience with prompt engineering or working with AI/LLM-based platforms.
• Experience as an early-stage startup engineer or founder.
• Experience with TypeScript, React, Python, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, AWS.
