Our data center engineering team designs the future of Google's data centers. You'll work on cutting-edge strategies, optimize for efficiency, and drive improvements alongside facilities technicians. You will apply technical expertise to ensure compliance with codes and standards, develop infrastructure improvements, and serve as an expert in your specialty (e.g., cooling, electrical).
In this role, you will be responsible for the technical leadership and management of the Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) design process for Google's mission-critical data center portfolio. You will ensure design quality, constructability, and cost-efficiency by reviewing conceptual designs, developing global CSA design standards, and coordinating with cross-functional internal teams and external Architecture/Engineering firms.
