Job Overview

Under the direction of the Deputy Attorney General Supervisor, Special Litigation Advisor within the Special Litigation Section, the Administrative Assistant I performs high‑level administrative and executive support duties. Responsibilities include completing office tasks requiring independent action, supporting litigation management and related database initiatives, recommending management system improvements, and maintaining a thorough understanding of Departmental policies. The role requires creating, monitoring, and maintaining significant projects to relieve executive management of administrative tasks, and establishing working relationships across staff and management levels.

Working Conditions

This position is eligible for telework and is currently remote‑centered. The employee may be required to attend in‑person meetings, trainings, or other events at the Department of Justice headquarters in San Francisco. Travel expenses to the office for required events are the employee's responsibility. All telework schedules are subject to change.
