About the Role

As a Software Engineer at Numeric you will own end‑to‑end execution of product components and help shape product strategy. You will build scalable data pipelines, reporting tools, and automate accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain a synchronization and transformation system that drives the unified data model for reporting and analytics.
• Build and enhance the reporting experience, allowing users to define structured projections of financial data and integrate reports into their workflows.
• Expand and scale automation layers, including a generalizable subledger that automates the full cycle of accounting treatment.
• Parse source documentation and extract necessary accounting information.
• Handle product change over time, including new events and unanticipated changes.
• Synchronize data to and from external accounting systems to deliver end‑to‑end automation.
• Implement transaction monitoring to detect, flag, and resolve anomalies and bad data.
• Help build a new transactional foundation that connects assets and activities across the platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong fundamentals in software design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with scalable data processing and automation.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
