What You'll Do

  • Oversee the preparation of deliverables and documents, including narratives, calculations, drawings and specifications.
  • Apply electrical distribution, lighting and power system design.
  • Communicate design options effectively to diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Provide engineering direction and guidance for the project team.
  • Independently evaluate and apply engineering judgment, techniques, and procedures to complete a project from concepts through construction.
  • Oversee electrical load calculations.
  • Ensure project completes within budget and schedule.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines for interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Provide updates to master specifications and input into standards.
  • Apply building code and electrical industry standard knowledge.
  • Perform engineering calculations and equipment selection.
  • Provide cost opinion estimates.
  • Conduct site visits and issue reports.
  • Analyze distribution load flow, short circuit and arc flash energy using Easy Power.
  • Implement the project quality management plan (QMP).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Relevant Professional Credential (e.g., PE) preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of electrical engineering experience or 4–6 years of related work experience.
  • Advanced understanding of electrical engineering concepts.
  • Thorough understanding of project phases and associated deliverables.
  • Ability to assemble and lead a team.
  • Strong delegation skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge and application of the NEC and relevant building and energy codes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Revit/AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with Easy Power.

  • Hiring Base Salary Range: $104,000–$136,900 per year (eligible for straight overtime pay).
