Overview

The following information describes a current opportunity for an Accounting Manager with a non-profit organization in San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the accounting team, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
• Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations.
• Coordinate and manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
• Provide financial analysis and support to the management team.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Handle ad-hoc accounting projects as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
