As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, you will lead the monitoring, development, and ongoing management of Food Safety and HACCP programs while maintaining GFSI-benchmarked SQF certification.In this role, you'll serve as the site's SQF practitioner, with the authority to take action to protect the integrity of our systems. As the business scales and expands into new areas like sauce manufacturing, you've learned from existing systems while evolving and creating new ones in partnership with stakeholders across Manufacturing, Maintenance, Quality, Sanitation, and Warehouse. Through diligent document control, record verification, internal audits, and incident management, you've maintained compliance, driven corrective actions, and refined pre-requisite programs. Your proactive approach and continuous collaboration have safeguarded the integrity of our SQF system while ensuring it grows with the business and supports Torani's commitment to a strong, adaptive food safety culture.* Audit Readiness Champion: By keeping our factories and warehouses consistently audit-ready, you've earned the trust of teams across the organization. You led the development and execution of the in-house SQF self-audit plan-coordinating with key stakeholders across Quality, Manufacturing, and Sanitation to schedule audits, assign responsibilities, and ensure thorough documentation. Following each review, you created clear action plans, tracked progress through an effective audit register, and verified that findings were resolved promptly. As the main contact with certification bodies, you've ensured seamless certification processes and reinforced Torani's reputation for operational excellence and proactive compliance.* Food Safety Leader & Problem Solver: You've led by example to promote a culture where food safety is understood and valued at every level. By actively engaging with team members, you've helped identify potential risks and supported timely, effective solutions that prevent issues before they occur. As a trusted thought partner, you've collaborated across departments to investigate root causes, implement corrective actions, and strengthen preventive programs.
