Chabot College, Hayward, CA is seeking a Part-Time Instructor, Microbiology. Start Date: Spring 2026. Location: Chabot College, 25555 Hesperian Blvd., Hayward, CA 94545. Salary: $2,075.12/CAH - $2,322.27/CAH.
We are looking for excellent instructors who are student-centered in their approach and dedicated to student success. The ideal candidate will promote student engagement, incorporate culturally responsive pedagogy, have excellent communication skills with students, staff and faculty peers, and be equity-minded in their work.
Master's degree in any biological science OR Bachelor's in any biological science AND Master's in biochemistry, biophysics, or marine science OR the equivalent. Evidence of understanding of and responsiveness to the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, racial and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, as these factors relate to the need for equity-minded practices within the classroom.
