Job Description

This is a high-impact opportunity to build foundational accounting processes and support a mission-driven team working on advanced energy systems. The ideal candidate will bring a systems-savvy mindset, startup tempo, and strong accounting fundamentals to help shape the financial infrastructure of a cutting-edge organization.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end and quarter-end close process, including GL integrity and reconciliations.
• Design and maintain a chart of accounts tailored to hardware, programs, and cost centers.
• Manage multi-entity consolidation and intercompany eliminations.
• Oversee AP/AR processes, vendor payments, and cash management.
• Collaborate with external accounting firms and internal teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

Requirements

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a startup or hardware environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA a plus).
• Strong ERP and spreadsheet skills; QuickBooks Online familiarity helpful.
• Experience with procurement, fixed assets, and manufacturing/cost accounting.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
