Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $145,000 to $160,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and maintenance of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor project costs and ensure alignment with budget expectations.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including WIP, P&L, and cash flow reports.
• Manage financial systems and tools to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and payroll processes related to construction projects.

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• At least 5+ years of experience in financial management within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and its application in project-based accounting.
• Proficiency in construction-focused ERP systems.
• Experience managing cash flow and conducting account reconciliations.

• Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Skilled in preparing complex spreadsheets and financial models.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
