Consumable Manufacturing Technician

The objective of the position is focused on all activities around consumable production spanning from raw material management to final packaging.

1. Execute independently all routine operations around consumable production.
2. Perform manual assembly and/or operate semi-automatic equipment for the purpose of membrane plate production.
3. Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines to accomplish production tasks while accurately recording processing steps in batch records and logs.
4. Initiate and complete updates of Manufacturing documentation as needed.
5. Prepare raw materials, maintain and organize inventory of materials needed for daily manufacturing operations.
6. Perform incoming inspections of materials as specified.
7. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area as well as tools & equipment.
8. Work hand in hand with team members in Manufacturing and participate in other manufacturing activities as needed.

Responsibilities

• 1 - 2 years experience in a Life Science Manufacturing environment
• High School Diploma required, Associates Degree a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Office required
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks according to goals and company needs
• Ability to work in a team and cross-functionally
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
