Software Engineer
Rillet serves finance teams. Our customers are the financial brains of their companies. Our job is to help them run the numbers with impossible speed, accuracy, and insight. Rillet is an AI‑native ERP that can drive a zero‑day close. We are different because of our unified source‑of‑truth data model, hundreds of best‑in‑class native integrations (Stripe, Ramp, Salesforce, etc.), automated & auditable workflows, multi‑entity consolidation, and a rapidly expanding army of specialized AI agents. We have raised $100M from leading investors, including Sequoia, a16z, Iconiq, Oak HC/FT, and First Round, to help everyone run their numbers at the speed of AI.
We're looking for an experienced software engineer to work across the whole software lifecycle at Rillet. You'll join a growing engineering team and work closely with the CTO, product, and design to build industry‑defining accounting and finance software. This is a remote‑first role with the option to work from one of our office hubs in New York City, San Francisco, or Barcelona.

- Use continuous delivery practices to deliver high‑quality software to our end users.
- Apply test‑driven development and automation extensively.
- Make sure that our software runs smoothly in production.
Qualifications
- Recent experience and proficiency in Kotlin, Java, or TypeScript.
- Experience with modern web frameworks (e.g., SvelteJS, React, Vue).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience with OOP and functional programming approaches.
- Enjoy finding practical solutions to real user problems without compromising on quality.
- Have a passion for learning.
Benefits
- Competitive compensation, including equity.
- Competitive healthcare and dental insurance options.
- Growth opportunity: roles, responsibilities, and compensation grow with the company.
- Flexible PTO with 9 company‑wide holidays.
- Remote friendly: offices in San Francisco, New York and Barcelona, but full remote possible.
- Team building: in‑person opportunities to foster collaboration and community across international locations.
