Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) – Delivery Consultant

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you'll work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You'll be a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
  2. Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
  3. Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies.
  4. Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.
  5. Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or other related field.
  • 3+ years of architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider such as Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.
  • 3+ years of experience with application security frameworks, identity and access controls, incident response, mobile security, cloud computing and security, AI security, threat intelligence, and penetration testing.
  • 1+ year in automating security operations, including scripting and automation to build scalable and secure environments, automating security assessments and remediation workflows, and implementing security policies as code.
  • 1+ year in advanced incident response to lead detection and analysis efforts and manage eradication processes.
  • Experience with designing and building applications using AWS services such as Lambda, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience in automation through DevOps scripting (e.g., shell, Python, Ruby, PowerShell).
  • Experience with compliance and security standards including PCI DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and NIST.
  • AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional, Certified Security Specialty) preferred.
  • Implementation experience with enterprise security solutions such as WAF, IPS, anti‑DDOS, and SIEM.
