Junior Accountant San Francisco

Are you a motivated accounting professional eager to advance your career? LHH is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join clients our team in San Francisco. If you have 1-2 years of accounting experience and hold a degree in accounting, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow within a supportive and dynamic environment.

Base pay range

$27.00/hr - $32.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Account Reconciliation: Assist with reconciling general ledger accounts and resolving discrepancies.
• Financial Data Entry: Accurately enter and maintain financial transactions in accounting software.
• Supporting Reports: Help prepare financial reports and assist with month-end close activities.
• Expense Tracking: Track and categorize expenses, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with company policies.
• Team Support: Provide support to senior accounting staff with various accounting tasks and projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Experience: 1-2 years of accounting experience, with familiarity in accounting principles and practices.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and reconciliation.
• Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
