Role Overview


The Field Service Engineer 2 supports the Imaging Systems business within an assigned geographical area (Stanford and South Bay).


Your Role



  • Build credibility and trust with customers by conducting proactive customer visits and providing timely communications about issues.

  • Adopt best practices and provide feedback for product and process improvements.

  • Operate under State and Federal regulatory requirements; adhere to training, quality, safety, and manage company assets effectively.

  • Qualified to perform work in at least one modality, may be qualified in multiple modalities; pursue technical advances and resolve equipment and customer issues independently.


Key Responsibilities



  • Install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain imaging equipment at customer sites.

  • Generate service revenue while adhering to state and federal regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain customer relationship management using technical knowledge.

  • Manage company assets, labor time, parts ordering, tools and test equipment calibration, purchase orders, and vehicle expenses per Philips processes.


Qualifications



  • 4+ years of experience in IT, Network Diagnosis, System Connectivity, Remote Service within Engineering, Medical, Science related environment or equivalent with Vocational Education.

  • Strong organization aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to work independently.

  • Bachelors degree in electronics or related field (or 4+ years related experience without bachelors).

  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees and customers verbally and in writing.

  • Physical, cognitive and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

Field roles are done outside of the companys main facilities, generally at the customers or suppliers locations. This is a field role.

Compensation and Benefits


The pay range for this position in California is $30.69 to $49.11 per hour. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive total rewards benefits program, which includes generous PTO, 401(k) with up to 7% match, HSA, stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and more.


Additional Information


US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa. Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. Applicants must reside in or within commuting distance to Stanford and South Bay, CA.
