Under general supervision, the Patient Accounts Clerk collects payments on delinquent accounts for services rendered to patients of the Department of Public Health.
Minimum Qualifications Required
Applicants deemed qualified will complete all subsequent steps of the selection process, including a written, multiple?choice examination (100% weight) covering billing regulations, reimbursement priorities, accounts receivable procedures, credit interviewing techniques, mathematical calculations, regulatory knowledge, judgment and communication skills.
Passing the examination is required to continue in the selection process. Additional selection processes may be conducted by the hiring department.
