Position Overview
We are looking for a detail‑driven Paralegal to assist legal teams by providing administrative and case management support throughout the full lifecycle of litigation matters. This individual will work closely with attorneys and fellow support professionals to ensure efficient case handling, accurate document preparation, and high‑quality client service. Occasional support across additional practice areas may be required based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support litigation matters from initial intake through final resolution or trial.
- Assist in gathering, reviewing, and organizing documentation relevant to ongoing cases.
- Manage and maintain databases of case materials, including scanned and electronic files.
- Coordinate with internal technology and discovery teams to facilitate eDiscovery efforts and manage data platforms.
- Prepare and review court submissions, including cite‑checking, formatting, proofreading, and organizing exhibits.
- Support deposition logistics—prepare witness materials, organize exhibits, draft summaries, and manage subpoenas and notices.
- Conduct research and data collection tasks as needed, including reviewing public records, locating witnesses, or tracking evidence.
- Contribute to trial readiness—assist in exhibit prep, coordinate trial space and materials, and attend proceedings when necessary.
Qualifications & Preferred Background
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Prior experience (2–4 years) in litigation support, legal operations, or related work in a professional services setting is strongly valued.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining precision and attention to detail.
- Proactive problem solver who can independently prioritize tasks and follow complex instructions.
- Strong organizational skills and a structured approach to managing large volumes of information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to work extended hours when needed to meet deadlines.
- Occasional travel may be required based on case demands.
