About the Role

Our client, a distinguished and highly published San Francisco-based interior design studio, is seeking a Senior Interior Designer with extensive experience in high-end residential interiors. As their trusted recruiting partner, Bishop Design Consultants is managing the search to find a dynamic, design-savvy professional who is equally passionate about executing creative vision and managing project operations.

This is a pivotal role in a highly collaborative, boutique studio that emphasizes thoughtful design, attention to detail, and white‑glove client service. You'll work closely with the Principal to oversee projects from concept through installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the interior design and furnishing process for assigned projects
• Manage all phases of project development, timelines, deliverables, and client communications
• Prepare drawings, FF&E specifications, and schedules
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors
• Oversee team members and contribute to mentoring junior staff
• Source materials, manage budgets, and ensure quality across all touchpoints
• Represent the studio in meetings, site visits, and installations
• Maintain consistency with the studio's aesthetic and design standards

Qualifications

• 8+ years of interior design experience, primarily in high‑end residential
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• Strong AutoCAD proficiency (Adobe Creative Suite and Mac‑savvy)
• Deep knowledge of FF&E, millwork, and architectural detailing
• Confident communicator and natural project leader
• Organized, deadline‑driven, and client‑focused
