Video Editor – Thuma

Thuma is a modern design company specializing in furniture and home goods. The Video Editor will work with art directors, graphic designers, copywriters, and producers to craft high‑quality videos that align with our brand's vision.

Base Pay Range

$75,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into compelling video content for social media, web, ads, and other platforms.
• Perform color correction and grading to enhance the overall look and feel of the footage.
• Work with sound design, motion graphics, and visual effects when needed.
• Collaborate with creative teams to ensure consistency in visual storytelling.
• Organize and maintain video files, assets, and projects efficiently.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and editing techniques.

Potentially You

• 3+ years of experience in video editing and post‑production.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and/or Final Cut Pro.
• Strong understanding of color correction and grading techniques.
• Experience working with a variety of assets for platforms ranging from TV commercials to social media to paid marketing.
• Familiarity with LUTs, scopes, and advanced color grading workflows.
• Background in cinematography or an eye for composition and lighting.
• Experience with After Effects and motion graphics is a plus.
• Knowledge of various video formats, codecs, and compression standards.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Bonus: Experience in photo editing or retouching.

Compensation

$75,000 - $85,000 a year.

Salary may vary based on location, candidate skills, experience, and market data.
