Overview

Zuora, Inc. seeks Manager Software Engineering to:

• Moderate the collaboration between team members and senior engineering leaders on the design and implementation of new architectural patterns.
• Refine the team's ability to set clear priorities, estimate effort and set accurate expectations regarding delivery dates.
• Identify ways to improve the tools and processes that the team uses to build, test, and release code.
• Work with Zuora Documentation, Support and Customer Success teams to provide help, fix customer-reported bugs, and handle escalations.
• Support Product Managers as they work with the team to deliver product features.

Qualifications

Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or Systems, or a related field, followed by 5 years of progressive post-bachelor's experience as a Software Developer, or a related occupation. Experience must include 5 years of experience with each of the following:

• Planning, designing, and implementing scalable and secure applications.
• Java, Gradle, Cassandra, Docker, Grafana, Jersey, Junit, Kibana, Maven, Mockito, Postgres, Spring, RESTful APIs, TestNG.
• Developing best practices to ensure software security, functionality, usability, reliability, and availability.
• Experience working with integration of financial and taxation applications.

The base pay details represent the annualized salary range for the posted position. While we share a comprehensive range, a candidate's final base salary will fall within these guidelines and will be determined based on multiple factors including but not limited to: qualifications of the candidate, job related knowledge, prior related experience, specific and unique skills, the location of the role, internal equity and internal budget. Base pay is only one element of Zuora's Total Rewards Package. Additional elements may also include bonus/variable compensation, equity and comprehensive benefits, more details found here. Base Pay Details $177,400 — $266,200 USD
