About the Team

People spend fifteen seconds with an Orb, but a lifetime with the World App. As such, the App team plays a critical role in fulfilling our mission. Using the App, people can join the World network, participate in decentralized finance in a friendly and self-custodial manner, and use their WorldID to unlock services across the ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Introduce and own testing automation frameworks and best practices.
  • Implement and maintain a suite of core automation testing that covers core flows such as onboarding and verification.
  • Partner with project teams to produce and implement an automation testing plan alongside feature development.
  • Manual quality assurance – triage reports and assist in reproducing issues.
  • Contribute across all platforms directly – lean on AI tooling, fix simple issues, and integrate automation testing across Android, iOS, and backend.

Qualifications

  • Experience with introducing/owning quality tools, frameworks, and culture.
  • Cross‑functional experience – working with PMs, localization, legal, support, etc.
  • Leadership/mentorship/training experience with junior engineers.
  • Experience with development on Android and iOS.
  • Experience with automation testing frameworks.
  • Experience with AI tooling for programming.
  • Self‑starting, high agency and initiative.

Pay Transparency Statement (for CA based roles)

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at TFH ranges from $153,500 – $195,000, plus a competitive long‑term incentive package. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
