Report and write graphics- and data-driven articles for our digital and print editions. Conceive story ideas and work with editors and developers to enhance our storytelling. Collaborate with newsroom reporters to produce unique, high-impact journalism. Create assets to help promote and distribute the team's work. Ability to report stories and write and build quickly while keeping the strictest commitment to fairness and accuracy. Ability to work with multiple, large datasets, preferably using Python, R, or similar coding languages. Knowledge of current multimedia storytelling and desire to experiment with new ways of engaging readers. Ability to collaborate with all newsroom teams and work in a fast-changing news environment.
