Description

We are looking for an experienced paralegal to join our legal team supporting the company's operations in the Americas. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of paralegal experience and excellent written and verbal communication skills. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter with strong organizational and creative problem-solving skills. Under minimum supervision, the paralegal will provide accurate and timely responses to inquiries from employees and internal and external legal counsel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review and negotiate a variety of standard agreements with vendors and customers including non-disclosure agreements, marketing agreements, influencer agreements, after-sales service agreements.
• Support litigation discovery, including the collection and production of documents, and communicating with outside counsel regarding the same.
• Organize and coordinate responses to document requests, subpoenas, and other records requests in connection with civil, administrative, and criminal investigations or proceedings.
• Represent the legal department internally and respond to employee inquiries about department processes and procedures.
• Assist with operations including outside counsel engagements and outside counsel billing; contribute to the development of policies and procedures; respond to requests for executed contracts.
• Organize, label, and file contracts and case materials as directed.
• All other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Years of Education

• Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree with paralegal certificate

Work Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• In-house legal department experience
• Proficiency in Chinese is a plus

Working Conditions:

• Typically works in an office environment, involving sitting certain hours a day, lifting up to 15 pounds, etc.

$90,000 - $100,000 annually is the estimated pay range for this role working in Fremont, California office. The final amount will be determined based on qualifications & experience of the candidate relative to the role.
